Etienne! This sweet little guy came to the studio with his lovely parents and his darling big sister. Etienne’s mom and dad requested whites, cream, tan, and gray for his session colors. While mom fed Etienne at the beginning of his session, I was able to get some photos of big sister all by herself.
Some siblings love the camera but many don’t. Additionally, some siblings enjoy holding, snuggling, or lying next to their new baby brother or sister. For those that don’t wish to do photos like that, we have some workarounds. Many times, toddler siblings are more agreeable to sitting next to a prop. In this instance, we can try to get some photographs of big brother or sister next to a basket, crate, or bed and put baby in the prop.
