Tatum! This little guy was a trooper! He slept most of his newborn photoshoot and made my job easy! Tatum’s mom and dad requested mostly neutral colors for his newborn photo session so I used mostly creams, tans, and grays. To add some visual interest, I incorporated various textures such as furs, chunky knits, and some greenery.
I like to begin all my newborn portrait sessions with the family and sibling poses. These don’t have to be part of your newborn’s photoshoot but they are included in the cost and, honestly, parents end of loving them even if they weren’t sure they wanted them. I prefer to get these done in the beginning of the session so mom and dad can then relax and kickback for the remainder of their time at the studio. This is when most parents will enjoy some refreshments and watch a little tv while I continue with baby’s photos.
